Hey! I am in the Lucas Lifegroup-my husband Clay was there alone because my youngest Layton is sick.
I read your post about looking for a Lifegroup and I understand completely! I am a pastor's daughter-my father is no longer in the ministry-but I know what it is like to be held to different standards. It isn't easy!
We really, really struggled finding a Lifegroup that we fit into. I was 20 when we got married and Clay was 23-we were both young and every married class we went to was made up of much older couples. When we found the Lucas group we were so excited because there is such a large range of ages and some have children-other's don't.
Now I am rambling-sorry!
I just wanted to say I am glad you visited, I hope you come back, and I understand the difficulty!

I'm soooooo glad you enjoyed the lucas lifegroup on sunday. It was nice to see yall's sweet, smiling faces there. I hope you come back soon. I enjoyed catching up on your blog today. Your place looks GREAT and congrats on your new job. what an AWESOME place to work!
well dang. you could have sat by me!!! hope you will come back. tommy and i (along with about 5 other couples) helped start this class about 5 years ago and it's awesome to see how God has blessed it! at the time, we were the class with no children. times have changed. now we have a variety!!! please come back - at least once when i'm there!!!!
