Mistletoe Marketplace and Concert Season

Mom and I are going to Mistletoe tonight! I'm really excited, because I didn't think we'd be able to go. We used to be there only because my choir would sing in highschool....but it always puts me in the holiday spirit. The music and decorations and smells are always wonderful. So we'll be doing that tonight. The Direct TV guys are here....we're switching over from Comcast. Kurt had reached his limit on their AWFUL customer service and rising prices. So we are making the switch....and...drumroll, please....I get a DVR recorder in the package! So I can record anything I dont have time to watch right away. I'm so excited!!! Kurt predicts that this will change our lives. Of course, anything involving technology is life-changing, according to him. But I have to admit, I'm pretty excited.

I'm getting my Christmas card list together...everything is sneaking up on me, needing to get done. Me and my friends realized today that we only have about 2 weeks left of class, because Thanksgiving takes out a chunk of time. It was terrifying, to be honest. I have so much to do and turn in and NO time to do it. Time managing skills will be put to the test.

Dad and I are going to see Transiberian Orchestra on Sunday!!!! It will be so awesome. We've been wanting to go for several years, and I finally told him that we were getting tickets this year, no excuses. So it'll be our date. We also have Hannah Montana coming up on November 29th for Andrea's birthday. Dad and the three of us girls are headed to Memphis for a junior-high, teen-idol scream-fest. But it means a lot to Punky, so we're going. I guess it would be the equivalent of the girl version of Prince William coming to town for me. So therefore, I understand and support the obsession. This turned out to be concert season for our family.

Just a I'm typing this, the TV guys are here, and it's awkward for me just to sit and watch them, so I'm hiding out in the office. But I'm starting to notice that my house is smelling like cigarette smoke. Ew. I am busting out the Lysol for sure.

I love reading your hilarious blog and catching up with your family. We still miss you guys here in Cape. Hey maybe we'll see you at Hannah Montana--I'm taking Levi for his 9th birthday and he has no idea yet!! My sister-in-law Cathy and her daughter Abby are going with us and they still have the tickets so I have no idea where are seats are. I'm glad Levi won't be the only male there--tho he wouldn't care because he's totally in love with H.M.!! He'll be so excited to see Andrea again too!

We have tivo and it truly changed our lives. Mostly for the better. We prolly watch more tv now, tho. But we NEVER watch commercials. It's all good!

Also, I'm kinda jealous of the Hannah Montana concert but I know Andrea will have a blast!!

Prince William coming here...

you have given me something pleasant to drool about. Sigh.

But in a totally appropriate way of course. ;) YEAH RIGHT!

Transiberian Orchestra-WOW. I would love to go!

I loved seeing you tonight-I responded to your comment on my blog :)

The Belcher's gave me your myspace page way back so I could follow your wedding plans and see pictures. I found your blog from there and just love it because it's a happy blog! Most of the other ones I read are from friends who are battling illness and are sad to read. Yours makes me laugh! We do have a family blog but's it's not ready yet as I'm waiting for husband to teach me how to post pictures. I'll let you know when that happens! We will be in Memphis for the concert on the 29th!

If you know anyone in Cape who has a blog, let me know. I would love to read! You can pass around my address as well. I'm an open book! We should really try to hook up in Memphis.
