Sometimes as Christians we don't really know what to do to help. Sure, we can pray and ask God to heal these women, among other things. But I came across some websites that really interested me.
By purchasing something from these websites, the proceeds go towards redeeming women's lives and helping them get back on their feet, all while sharing the love of Christ with them. I don't know where you're doing your Christmas shopping this year, but maybe at least one person could use something from these sites.
Freesetbags.com : Bags made by women in India who want to support themselves without selling their bodies.
Shopinlight.com : Items made by women in Cambodia.
Saribari.com : Blankets and bags made by women from the Sari Bari shelter.
Thistlefarms.org : Bath products made by women living in the Magdalene shelter in Nashville.
(Websites featured in Today's Christian Woman magazine.)
You may not find anything that you'd like to purchase when you look at these websites, but make yourself aware. Just read about the different organizations and pray for the women that are doing their best to get back on their feet. Happy Shopping!

Thanks for these sites. I really think i might ask Hugh if we can get one of the Saribari blankets for a Christmas gift for someone.-Ho, on a side note, come on over to my blogiversary give away!
Yeah any Friday is good for me. I don't have class and I don't work on Fridays.
As I was writing my post, I thought about you and the primary colors nursery. I wonder what Ms. Feilner would say if she say your nursery now. Lol!
