And, of course, I bought it.
Now...I really don't expect to look like Jillian. Ever. But some serious toning needs to happen with my body. If you'll recall, one of my 101 goals is to be confident in a swimsuit. Granted, it might be the long-sleeved skirted variety, but ded gum it, I want to be confident in it.
So I tried Level 1 just a minute ago, and I think I might have completed something along the lines of Level .25---my body was about to call social services and report abuse. Better luck tomorrow....or 3 days from now.
And on top of that, I was dealing with serious distractions:

Doesn't it look like she was laughing at me?

LOL! I've heard a lot about the 30 Day Shred, but I've never done it. Mostly because I prefer either taking a class at the gym or running outside...but also because I'm a little scared of it. I've heard it's killer!!
Good luck with the exercise!
Just wanted to say that Evy is JUST beautiful!!!!
Haha! I would love to have been a fly on the wall... It took me a week to feel like I could even somewhat get through Level 1 -- and that's with some breaks to catch my breath. Don't tell Jillian. Haha.
I have that dvd and it does kick your behind! I promise if you stick with it you will get more toned, more flexible and just feel great! The great thing about the dvd is that the workouts are only 20 mins, and I'm sure with your precious girl that helps! Good luck! Your daughter is adorable!
That video is so hard! I've been needing to "tone up" as well (I have a 6 month old) and I got so lightheaded after doing level one. Who would have thought a 20 minute workout would be so hard!

ok ... where can I get this dvd?
I recently bought this dvd as well (I am still trying to get back in shape after my pregnancy, and I have a ONE year old!) We'll see how this goes :)
I'm also a sucker for marketing, so you're not alone!
I nearly laughed out loud at Level .25. Just keep at it girl . . . if you can. That smiling child of your's would be a terrible distraction to me and I'm not even her mother!
I bought that back in January. And I agree wholeheartedly--it's HARD. But, on the bright side, it does get easier. I was using it for some of the extra weight I had gained during my first semester of teaching...and it's great :) Now, I need to go exercise, because I defnitely fell off the wagon last week.
