Easter Fun :o)

We had a wonderful weekend---and Evy certainly enjoyed her first Easter!

We arrived in Ripley (Kurt's hometown) on Saturday and immediately met Momma Dot and Grandaddy for the first time. Then Evy was cuddled and loved on by Momo, Daddy Willie, Uncle Kelly, and Aunt Jennifer (not to mention Mia and Randad!).

On Easter Sunday, we woke up to find that the Easter Bunny left Evy a wonderful basket, and a date night for Mommy and Daddy (PF Chang's)!! What a great Easter bunny :o) Mrs. Pam did a wonderful job directing the Easter musical at church, and Evy made it through--half of the time asleep, and the other half awake! I only had to take her out right before the invitation. We took lots of family pictures in the beautiful weather.

Mrs. Pam (now known as "Mia!") made Evy an ADORABLE tutu (I'm obsessed with tutus), complete with a monogrammed shirt and socks. Oh--Gigi gave Evy a beautiful Easter basket too (for some reason the pictures didn't upload last time), and the highlight was the movie Pinnochio! Now we're learning to sing "When You Wish Upon a Star!" Anyway, we had a little photo session with our new outfit.

Sunday afternoon, we had a great time with the extended family. Everyone loved meeting the newest addition! After the big get-together, Evy discovered with Aunt Jen Jen that she enjoys arching her back and looking like Peter Pan! She was so relaxed and looked so funny, we couldn't help but get a picture!

We had a wonderful Easter worshipping our risen Lord---what a privilege to serve Him!

So many pictures!

I love the first set of pictures with her grandparents cuddling her. So sweet. And a dinner date - what a great gift from the Easter basket!! I also love that tutu. I'm not a big fan of girlie frou frou stuff, but tutus are my one exception - too cute! Love all the family pics too. You guys are such a gorgeous family.

Oh Ashley, I don't even know where to start. I'm so glad you were able to enjoy your time to the fullest. You guys look so happy and smitten.

And a confession, I'm sooo not a bow girl, but I can't think of Evy without an adorable accessory! They look too cute for words on her!
