Happy Easter 2009!

He is Risen! Praise the Lord for that beautiful morning when He was no longer in the grave. There is a peace that washes over me every Easter, first thing in the morning. No matter what kind of service we're going to, or what family members we're with, or what the activities are, I love Easter. Most importantly, it's the celebration of the foundation of our faith---His resurrection! But also, to me it's the celebration of new life; and I have a precious new little life to celebrate this year. Evy makes the sun shine brighter and the flowers seem prettier. I have told Kurt so many times that I feel like I'm looking at life through an entirely new lens. And it's wonderful! It's amazing how one little life can make so many people so happy. And it's also amazing how one Life---our Lord's---changed the course of history and my eternal destiny forever. He is Risen! He is Risen indeed!
