This and That

Hi everyone :o)
Well, things are pretty exciting around here. And by exciting, I mean....Kurt has a stomach bug :o( It's been so sad, because he can't hold Evy (or me!) and just feels so yucky. Thankfully he has the knowledge and access to the materials to treat himself. I would post a picture, but maybe that would get him in trouble? Who knows...poor thing :o(

But he says that looking at this little face makes him feel much better:



I've been busy painting! I'm also going to take pictures of other examples when I'm at my parents' next week. It's interesting, though...once I decided to try this, Satan has really made me doubt my talent, and doubt that anyone would even WANT something like this. There are so many people more talented than me out there. I'm not saying this to have a pity party; I really believe my heart is in the right place. I'm just going to try my best and give it to the Lord! Again, if you're interested, let me know. I think I might start a separate blog page just to give people easy reference. I'll put up that info and the pictures once I have them!

We're going to make our first traveling attempt soon! Sometime on Sunday (not sure when), we're going to drive to Cape and be there through Wednesday or Thursday. Then we'll come back to Jackson because Kurt has to work good Friday, and then we'll head up to spend Easter with his family Saturday and Sunday. It's going to be an experiment, that's for sure! Now that she's had her shots, and we're all doing better (kind of) with the sleep situation, I feel more ready to brave the world--haha! I can't believe that Monday my little girl will be 2 months old. That is just CRAZY to me.
