Kelly's Home Tour---Foyer Edition

Welcome to the Lancaster house! This week is the foyer.

This is our entry table. It's my great-grandmother's old sewing table, and I was in the process of refinishing it, but never got completely done. I still plan to re-stain it and get it back to its original glory, but for right now it looks kind of rustic and distressed. Not typically my style, but for right now, it works.

On the table: framed pictures of our wedding, an "L", a cool vase, and big silver initials representing our names. I got the star mirror at Pier 1---it's one of my favorite things!

This is the wall on the right side: framed pictures from our newborn session with Evy. She was 1 week old!

The wall on the left: Gold letters from Hobby Lobby spell LOVE, and at Christmas they'll spell NOEL. Framed pictures from our professional photo sessions.

Finally, one of my 24th birthday gifts: Robert Spooner art. I love the simplicity of Jesus' name. Everytime I see it, I have such peace.

Thanks for stopping by--blessings on your home!

I LOVE all the letters :) I am addicted to them!!! We have our initials hanging in our hallway on the wall and I found that I put the letter "K" in almost all of our rooms. Love your entry way!

Off topic...but can I make a blog post request? I'd love for you to tell us about a typical day for you and Evy. Since I'll be a stay at home mom, I'm very curious as to what SAHMs do each day. :)

Love the star mirror.

Gorgeous photos of your baby girl....do you ever wonder what you put on the walls before you had photos of her to put there?!! LOL!

I took part in the home tour for the first time today with my hall in our holiday cottage near the beach in Northern Ireland.

Have a lovely weekend.
