I did, I really did. I thoroughly researched it when I decided to move my blog from Xanga to Blogspot. I agonized over that decision, knowing that unlike Xanga, I couldn't just make certain posts private. I suppose my finally decision to keep it totally public came from two factors:
1- I thought it kind of big headed and a little tacky to write someone like you, a stranger but for Blogspot, if I could add you as my contact. I didn't want to be presumptuous and think that even though you followed my blog, you'd want to be my special private blogging friend.
2- I really liked that I'd made friends, like you, through Blogspot and didn't want to make my blog unavailable to random passer-by's. I have so enjoyed finding a community of Christian young married women through blogspot. It's really been great.
I honestly have tried to hard to hold back my brutally honest thoughts about specific issues with family since moving to blogspot. I've even posted two posts about being more discrete. Right now I am reeling. I feel very hurt. :-(

I love these cartoons. When I was little, we had a ton of VHS tapes with short cartoons like this on them. Great memory!
