Kelly's Tour---Receptions & Honeymoon (I added Engagement!) Pictures

Here are our engagement pictures (I just decided to throw them in because I don't think I've put many on the blog before). We got engaged here, at Chapel of the Cross, a historic church. We went here on our first date to walk around, and then Kurt proposed there as well :o) I think they turned out great! Note: I had a "break-away" bouquet that I tossed, so that more than one person could catch flowers. It just so happened that my two sisters and my best friend caught them! Perfect!
No, we didn't have to rent that convertible....that belongs to my car-loving husband! It was so much fun to date in, but I get motion sick easily, so once we got married, I said I'd like to avoid riding in it. The things we do when we're dating! But doesn't it make for a great picture?! He loves that car dearly (but not as much as me or Evy....right Kurt? Right?).
And here are some honeymoon pictures. We went to Cancun, Mexico and stayed at the Royal Cancun Resort. My grandparents were so gracious to give us this gift of a relaxing, restful honeymoon. We really enjoyed ourselves! Kurt wanted a beachy, totally chill honeymoon, and I wanted New York City or Disney World! I got to go on "my" honeymoon last October (see my "Disney" label in the left column), and actually, a beachy honeymoon was just what we needed. It was awesome!!!
