We have a house!!!!
Yes, I'm allowed to type those words because we have a contract on a house as of today!
Long story short:
We've had our eye on a certain house ever since May, when we started looking just to get a feel for the market. A month or so ago, our realtor approached us. The owners of the house had the opportunity to rent the house out for several months, but they were only going to do it if they had a guaranteed buyer for the house. So we were planning on making an offer and contracting the house, but not actually buying it until our move. Well, the renters fell through. They were totally sketcho. So we moved on and knew that it just wasn't the right timing.
Well, Saturday morning I got a call from our lovely realtor again. She said that another couple wanted to rent the house, and the same offer was on the table again. This time, it was for sure that the renters weren't going to back out. So, in the course of literally two days, we offered, they counter-offered, and we accepted!
Technically, the house isn't "ours" until May 31st when we close. But we have a contract on it, and no one can jump in ahead of us. So we basically have our house bookmarked for us until we move. Pretty neat, huh?
So I'll be moving at the end of May/beginning of June and Kurt will finish his residency on June 30th. It's going to be crazy, but we're so excited :)

God worked in mysterious ways for us to know this far in advance where we will live once we move. We are so thankful to Him, as well as our wonderful realtor, Kathi.
