Blogettes, We Have a Problem

Yes, indeed.

Tours are not good for me. I become so much more addicted to blogging after seeing all of the sites that I had been missing all this time. How had I been missing so many sites all this time?

I will not even begin to list all of my new addictions, Blogettes, but I will state that I have found near perfection:

Hooked on Houses.

Have mercy on my soul. Am I the last person on the planet to have found this deliciousness? Julia highlights tours of homes, celebrity homes (like, ohmygosh for real), and --my favorite-- movie and TV houses!!

You know about my obsession (along with my dad) with the original Parent Trap ranch house. She is researching it right now.

The Christmas in Connecticut house. It's there.

I have a small/kind of large obsession with movie sets. If I am attracted and mesmerized by the movie set, I will be attached to the movie for life.

I had never been to HOH before, and when I visited, her most recent post was about Meet Me In St. Louis. EEEEEE!!!!!!!! I have this movie memorized! All the movie stills are there, and even some history. I'm pretty pumped because not too long from now I'll live about 2 hours away from St. Louis and can hopefully go peek at some beautiful historic streets/maybe homes. So, along with the premise of the blog being amazing, Julia had to suck me in with Meet Me In St. Louis. Sold.

Lord, please add 4 more hours to everyday that I can devote just to browsing the wonder of the Internet.

Mmmmm, Lafayette Square. Love that part of the city. The houses are amazing, there is an adorable park, and all kinds of fun restaurants and shops. Plus, it's a really dog friendly area, so you see people walking their dogs along the streets all the time and all the shops have these little hooks that you can hook your dog's leash to when you go inside the shop. They even have little water bowls along the sidewalks. It's so fun!

During the Christmas season, you can actually do a tour of a lot of the Lafayette Square houses. It's called the Lafayette Square Holiday Parlour Tour. I'll post a link below, but it's definitely something you should check out next year when you are so close! :)

Oh dear, I have been finding so many new blogs lately. I wish I would have known about your blog before we went to Disney World. We went over Thanksgiving and although we did make some good memories we were really at a loss for our son's age group (16 months). He was NOT a happy camper and in turn, mom and dad were not happy campers! I want to go back but not for a very long time!
