-You are sleeping so well! You go to bed around 9:00 each night and sleep till around 9:00 in the morning. It's a DREAM! However, I (Mommy) am not getting extreme amounts of sleep because I stay up so late trying to get things done. You keep me VERY busy during the day!
-You weigh around 20 pounds (we're guessing?) and are still in a size 3 diaper. You are wearing 9-12 month clothes.
-We celebrated your first Thanskgiving with all of our family. It was so wonderful, Bitty. You bring so much joy to everyone that is around you, and YOU are what we are most thankful for, not only this year, but for the rest of our lives.
-You have started standing and balancing! You can't pull up by yourself yet, but you have excellent balance once we stand you up. You still aren't crawling. You just can't seem to figure out the legs part. You're straddling two milestones at the same time---crawling and standing/cruising!
-All of a sudden, you have become attached to your white bunny. This happened literally overnight. I saw you sleeping with it clutched in your arm, and when you woke up the next morning you beamed when I handed you your bunny. I didn't think you were going to have a lovey of any kind, but I'm kind of glad you do; it's cute!
-You are developing kind of a short attention span, which makes for some long days! I can't seem to show you anything that keeps you busy for a good span of time. But that's okay; I suppose you're just figuring out what hobbies in life you'd like to pursue, and what really interests you. :)
-You love lunching with Little Friend Aubrey and Little Friend Ann Peyton. They are cute as buttons, and you're all such well behaved little ladies. We never cease to get comments!
-Your new favorite song is Little Gray Donkey:
Little gray donkey, clip clop, clip clop, on the way to Bethlehem.... (and it repeats again)
-Your hair is growing, growing! We're just figuring out the perfect styles.
-You are eating every 3-4 hours and taking 2 naps a day, one in the late morning and another in the late afternoon.
-You cut your first tooth this month! It's on the bottom center, and you love feeling it with your tongue. It's so cute!
-You having started "dancing." You tilt your head back and forth whenever the mood strikes; usually when someone is singing or there's music. I see musical theater in your future. :)
-You moved into a big girl carseat this month! We chose the Britax Boulevard, and you really seem to like it. It has helped on car trips. . . not made them easier, per se, but you're doing much better now that you can sit up and see. You pretty much give it a thumbs up.
-We pulled out the pack and play for the first time, because we needed a playpen! You are into EVERYTHING, and somehow you're not crawling or walking yet....you're just rolling and reaching. You're still getting used to your confined space, but I think it will grow on you. :)
-You are going through a "silly" phase with your bottle. You wiggle, laugh, stick out your tongue, and play with your bottle. You do everything but take it. We have to go in shifts until you finish your 6 ounces. It's tiring, but of course, you're adorable.
-Bitty, Daddy and I love you so much. You are everything we dreamed of, but also so much more. You have been life-changing and heart-fulfilling. When I do resort to using a video (ha!), I put it Praise Baby or Baby Faith, because it's so crucially important that we're talking about Jesus and you're learning to praise Him, even at 10 months old. The responsibility of training you in the way you should go is daunting but so exciting. A big prayer that I have for you is that you'll be able to love and relate to people in the world, but that you will live a life honoring to Him. I am also praying that you grow to be a convicted woman of God, who isn't afraid to have black and white beliefs in a gray world. However, I'm praying that you wrap all of those beliefs in kindness and love. To quote what your Papa wrote in your baby Bible: "I'm praying that you consume the written Word and become like the living Word."

She may skip crawling all together-Laura Grace never crawled, at 10 months she started standing and then a few days later she took a step. Evy may have decided that she is much too busy to figure out the crawling HA!

WOW!!! I loved looking at all the pictures. So sweet :) Thanks for sharing all those milestones. I love reading about what she's in to lately :) I know her and Whitley Claire would love to play with them being only 2 weeks apart...but live so far away from each other!
Awww, what a sweet post! Thanks for sharing your adorable baby with us! (And speaking of hair growing, my baby is almost 3 now and, well, I'm still waiting for some length- ha!) Evy looks just precious with her little bow!
