-Kurt's mom custom made our stockings! I showed her a picture of some stockings I loved from Horchow (which you need to look at for inspiration---gorgeousness, even though it's on the expensive side), and she went from there. Next year, like I said in the post, I'm going with a more neutral color scheme: golds, creams, silvers, etc. So we'll be starting again, and I can't wait! She's amazing.
-I got the gold letters on my LOVE/NOEL wall from Hobby Lobby.
-Lancaster is our last name, not the town we live in. :)
- I am planning on keeping the Christmas card framed all year. I always love our Christmas cards, and this way I can see it all the time!
-I got the idea to spell out LOVE and NOEL from my precious aunt who lives in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I always try to pick up my unique "home" things when I visit. Her decorating style is just beyond gorgeous. I'll be seeing my family in Texas over Christmas, so maybe I can sneak some pictures onto my blog and show you her home. It's literally to die for. The reason I love it is because there are personal little items everywhere, but it never looks cluttered. And when we're walking through a store, my mom and sister or I will say, "That's an Aunt Karen lamp" or "That's an Aunt Karen pillow." To me, she has perfected decorating: it reflects Christ but isn't trite or preachy, individual, personal things are everywhere, and she has a signature style. That's what I'm trying to do in my house! :)
Stay tuned---I'm going to try and talk her into letting me feature her house! :) And if you have any other questions, feel free to ask!
P.S. My mom recently hosted a baby shower for my super cute friend Kristal! Go here to see my parents' house decorated for Christmas!

i agree their home is gorgeous!! i'd love to see a post about it!
I just found your blog through Kelly and looking forward to following ya!
I also noted your stockings--so cute! We all have different stockings at my house--I suggested to Taylor the other day that we get matching ones, but his great grandmother made his, and I am kind of attached to mine too--so we are going to be an eclectic bunch! Anyway--your house looks great--and just for the record, Evy's dimples may be the cutest thing I've ever seen! Merry Christmas!
Adorable stockings and your mother's home is gorgeous...along with yours. My husband is from Jackson, MO...we live in West Plains, MO now...small world...I went to SEMO!
Yeah I loved those stockings! They are cute.
OH MY GOSH! Thank you so much for the house blog! I love houses SO MUCH so this is great for me!
