These sets of pictures are actually out of order, because we saw the Lancasters first, then my family. Evy watched her first Macy's Parade, and also started standing at the Lancasters' on Thanksgiving Day! We loved seeing all of our family and having a relaxing time. At my parents', some highlights were putting up some wall lettering for my mom (the lyrics to the song "In Christ Alone") above her kitchen cabinets. Project of the century, and Kurt and I are still happily married. That's impressive. My brother and youngest sister sang in the Cape Christmas Parade, and my brother looked dashing (way underused word) in a tacky Christmas sweater, courtesy of my mom's old wardrobe. We also enjoyed spending time with Nana and Poppy. I started the project of transferring old vinyl records to CD. The first album was the soundtrack of the movie The Singing Nun. Please tell me you've seen this movie.
Anyway, without further ado, Evy's first Thanksgiving, 2009!

Our Thanksgiving picture for 2009:

Thank you, dear Lord, for our many blessings! You are our Provider!

Very precious! I love the last two pics! The last one should go on a Christmas Card!! Your brother's sweater is hilarious!

Loved all the pics, especially the smocked dress and the cupcake pajamas!!
I love The Singing Nun!
Evy is so adorable. Glad you had such a good time with your families for Thanksgiving. =)
Beautiful pictures! One of the best parts of the holiday season is being with your family. Looks like y'all had a great Thanksgiving! I'm still working on getting the right picture for our Christmas cards, but thanks for the reminder. I need to get on that in a hurry. Blessings on your day!
aww what a fun day y'all had!!!

Hi Ashley! I don't even know how I found your blog but it is darling and so is your family! As I was reading it I saw many things we have in common....my daugter's name is Ashley (she is expecting her first baby...she thinks it's a girl)....I'm a Disney girl too (I've mentioned that many times on my blog with pictures of my family and I at Disneyland)...I love the Lord and I love Christmas too! I love the Duggars AND I live in Branson Missouri! I love my family and love taking care of my home...love being a homemaker! Oopsie... I think I used the word "love" a little too much here!lol. Anyhoo, you ought to come on over to my blog sometime...I share recipes...decorating ideas...and things that the Lord has laid on my heart. God bless you and have a wonderful Christmas!

the pictures are beautiful! I love the letters on the wall as well :)
p.s. I had to share that I still have my embroidered mousekateer ears (hat) from when I was 13 AND I still have some Disney Park tickets from when they gave you a book of tickets for each ride...the "E" ticket was for the best rides like the Matterhorn...I still have one of those! I just knew you would appreciate that Ashley! Walt Disney has been inspiring me since I was 5! I love that he was raised in Missouri!!
blessings!

I think the Clegg family and the Anderson family watched all the same movies growing up. Singing Nun is another favorite!
I really like the shirt you are wearing in your Thanksgiving pictures. Where did you get it?
Ok, I might have to get you to come over and show me how to put up some wall appliques. I love them!
I had fun looking at your pictures! It looks like you guys had a great Thanksgiving. :) You'll have to let me know what you think about Santa Calls. I hope it won't be a huge disappointment. lol I feel like anytime I inflate something that much, it's bound to be disappointing. haha Hope the rest of your week is great!

PS [First off, is this mega dorky that I keep replying to YOUR comments on MY post on YOUR post? Yeah probably.] Somehow I missed seeing the first sentence of your comment the first time. But then. I saw it. And it totallllllly made my day. Because I love Anne of Green Gables - the whole series. And I love Diana. And I love Anne and Diana. And bosom friends are a must in life. Even when they accidentally get you drunk on "cherry cordial".
Would this be a good time to admit that I once starting memorizing The Lady of Shalott?
Sooooo anyway thank you for saying that. I can go to sleep happy now. :)
