Busy, Busy!

I know I've been posting really sporadically these days. Between having the house on the market, taking care of a sick baby (just a yucky cold), and other responsibilities, I just haven't even thought about it!

I really do have a lot of posts in my head that I will publish soon; I just feel like right now I'm trying to keep my head above water, especially where my house is concerned. I try to keep it really straight so that if a realtor calls, I'm not in a complete panic (that term is relative).

Also, since Evy has been sick, she's been an incredibly picky eater and really high maintenence. I'm not complaining, because I love taking care of her, but she can't seem to figure out what exactly she wants at any given time. It's been so tiring! Kurt has been a huge help when he's been home. I'm so thankful for him. Right now Evy is protesting her nap. She took a morning one (of sorts) and so maybe she's convinced she doesn't need an afternoon one? I'm going to try and rock her so I'm praying she falls asleep. . .I need a few minutes to breathe!

I also started a new hobby that Kurt has gotten hooked on as well : researching our ancestry! My great grandmother was a geneaologist, so I think it's special that I'm interested in picking up what she loved to do. However, she had a library FULL of ancestry books, and I have the luxury of the internet! The show "Who Do You Think You Are?" on television really got me thinking about it again after watching Memomma do it for so many years. Kurt and I were up SO LATE last night tracing people. It's addicting! We're using ancestry.com. I'll be sharing more soon!

Anyway, all that to say, I'm still here and nothing catastrophic has happened. Just super busy and trying to keep everything in my life in some sort of order. Today the Easter Bunny is coming to our house! We don't do baskets on Easter Sunday because we're usually out of town and we want the emphasis to be on the Lord and His resurrection. So we just usually do our baskets within a few days of Easter. Nothing too terribly exciting, but I'll post pictures soon. And I will definitely be posting pictures of Evy soon, too--I know it's been awhile (for all of my family members who are stalking this blog waiting for them).

Have a great afternoon---I'm going to try and keep this baby happy! : /
