A Good Old-Fashioned Fair

We recently took Evy to the SEMO (Southeast Missouri) District Fair! In the 10 years I lived in Mississippi, I never once went to the fair. But I have always liked the Cape fair, because I remember going when we lived here the first time. :) We went during the day, and not at night, which suits me very well.

The day we went was HOT. We were sweating like crazy (as you'll be able to tell in the pictures!), but it was so worth it to see Evy have fun. Her favorite thing by far was the petting zoo. She was absolutely in heaven, and it was adorable to watch! We were happy to have Papa and Gigi with us, too! (I know some people will ask--Kurt's sweet and VERY talented mom made Evy's dress!)
