Thanksgiving 2010

When all is said and done, I am the most thankful for:

My Savior, my Lord, my God. Without Him, I am nothing. Without His grace and salvation, I would be aimlessly searching through life for meaning and fulfillment. And with His love, I am complete. My God, I serve You and love You with all that I am. Thank you.

These people:

They're my family, my blood, my best friends. They love me and I love them, no questions asked. They're amazing, and they're mine. I'm so thankful.

And the people I married into:

To say they're the best "in laws" is the understatement of the year. When I'm around them, I can breathe easy, still be myself, laugh, and enjoy their company. We have already formed bonds and memories together, and for that I am so thankful.

Along with the people above, it boils down to this:

I'm thankful for simply this. Three people who have each other, love each other, and would do anything for each other, for life. We're our own family and that's a powerful thing. We're surrounded by the people I mentioned above, which is a treasure. We live near them, which we don't take for granted (even living 3 hours away from the Lancasters is something to be thankful for--we can get there in less than half a day!).

Father, I have You and I have my family. I am complete!

I will thank you forever,
