-I am sick with cold/sinus yuck. I have spent almost the whole day on the couch (well, once Kurt got home around 2:30). My head just feels like it weighs 30 pounds. However, I've taken some medicine and am feeling a bit better.
-My best friends Carrie and Sarah Denley were here this weekend (along with baby Jude)!!! It was SO MUCH FUN. They might have been bored since I live in a small town and there's not much to do, but we talked hours upon hours which was so good for my soul. They really are kindred spirits. We covered every topic from blogging to parenting to spaghetti sauce. Not even kidding. They were kind of like celebrities at my church because some people who read my blog read theirs and recognized them--ha! They also got to meet Kristal, which was fun. The girls left today and arrived home safely. I loved having them here in my hometown and I miss them so much already. Thankfully I'll see them in March! I'll post more about our special weekend soon!
-Many people have asked where I got Evy's Disney wardrobe. My SWEET mother in law made Evy her two minky rompers (the red and black ones). The other two outfits came from Etsy. The monogrammed shirt came from HERE and the pink pillowcase dress came from HERE (she's currently on vacation).
A lot of people have asked me where they can get cute Disney outfits for boys. Search Etsy for "Disney boy clothes" (and variations of that) and you'll find many cute options! Also search "Disney boy Jon Jon" and be prepared to click "Add to Cart"--ha!
-I cannot believe that it's FEBRUARY tomorrow! My little girl will turn two in 9 days!
-I've read the Bachelor spoilers. I guess that's about all I can say about that. Oh, and I'm really happy the Duggar family is back for their new season! Love them to pieces.
-I am trying to keep upcoming blog post topics in my head, because I really am going to post more often. I had someone ask me to do a post about photography, which I'll be happy to do. I'll also show how my mantle, etc. looks now since Christmas is over but it's still winter. I do want to know--what topics would you be interested in? What would you find interesting? My friends and I were talking about this over the weekend and I noted that I really do blog for myself above everything else (just to document, scrapbook, journal, etc.) but I also love when a blogger asks for topic ideas. So I'm doing it! What would you be interested to see on my blog?
I think that's about it for now. If I'm up to it, I should have the last round of Disney pictures edited and uploaded tonight, so those will be coming soon.
