Christmas Lights Tradition!

A few days ago, we started our month-long Christmas celebration (haha!)! We do different things throughout the month so it's festive for as long as possible. Our town has a drive-through lights display in one of our parks. Different businesses, churches, and individuals put out different displays and it's so fun!

When I was growing up, I remember wearing our pajamas and driving through town looking at Christmas lights. When we lived here in Missouri the first time (1994-2000), I would always ask if we could drive through the neighborhood where we now live, because I liked it so much. :) Isn't that crazy!? Anyway, my siblings and I would wear pajamas and we would drive around. I wanted to continue that tradition in my family, so we put Evy and Liam in their pajamas (Kurt and I wore ours too) and we headed to the park!

The dynamic duo.

I love our town. :)

We laughed at this one, because the figures were meticulously aligned (not sure if you can tell in the picture). We decided whoever put this one up has OCD.

This is our church's display!

Evy was beside herself when she saw a Disney-themed display!

Meanwhile, Liam was in a more pensive mood.

When we got home, Evy was sitting in the chair and Thomasina came and cuddled with her. It was so cute!
I love creating memories like this!
