This morning I sang the song "My Beloved" by Kari Jobe in church. Long story short, there were a lot of factors today that made it difficult to sing (medical emergency in the service - right before I sang, couldn't hear the monitor, etc.). However, without even planning it, this song correlated perfectly with my Dad's message this morning. He is in a series called RSVP: The Ultimate Invitation, about how we are to be living an inviting lifestyle that draws others to the Lord. Today's sermon was about how God is an inviting God Himself, and He desires for us to come and rest in His love. I was scheduled to sing this song before we even knew what series this would be, so God was definitely at work in how He orchestrated the messages in word and song. :)
