I loved reading about your traditions. That is something I am struggling with right now (well last year and this, ever since we had Olivia). The balancing act of implementing new family traditions without stepping on toes on easily offended family members (and getting my husband to branch out too). It is such a touchy thing... and has been really hard on me. Something as simple as having the presents Santa brings wrapped or not and it seems he and I grew up complete opposites in those regards.

I liked your list of traditions and I, too, have been making a list of things I want to make "tradition" in our household. One thing is making gingerbread houses/cookies. Also I like the idea of a kids holiday party. WE went to one last year where the kids could make their own ornaments, there was a book swap/exchange game and lots of yummy Christmas treats. So much fun!!

This was lovely. I love family traditions. Especially at this time of year. I would love to change up my header for the holidays. I love to go with a bright Christmas red. I love the script writing that "southern" is in. Could we change "sass" to match? I'd love to add a church snow scene. I havea couple I can send you. Thanks for offering to do this! You're the sweetest! :)

Thanks for sharing your traditions! I'm getting so many good ideas from this blog party.... First one was to map out our lights viewing & do it with Starbucks!and now DO IT IN OUR PJs! Love it! I may go out and get PJs just for that night!
