About Me

I'm Ashley, and this is where I journal our life. I started blogging four months into my marriage in 2007, and it's become one of my biggest hobbies and greatest experiences. I consider myself an artistic, intentional, and passionate person. I am the oldest of four children, and my father is a pastor. I consider this a great privilege and I am so blessed to have been raised in a Christian home. You can read about the places I've lived here. You can read my full testimony here. My husband and I met in the summer of 2006 through a series of very God-ordained events. He is truly the love of my life and I'm so blessed to be married to him!

I am very happily married to my wonderful husband Kurt (who is an anesthesiologist), and I am now the extremely proud stay-at-home-mommy to our baby girl, Evy (rhymes with Chevy)! She has the most precious personality and is so full of joy. We adopted our son Liam from South Korea in 2011. He is our sunshine! Although Evy was born to us through pregnancy, the Lord clearly led us to international adoption for our second little one. We have been so blessed to be a part of something so spiritually significant!

Some main interests of mine are Disney, Christmas, and celebrating home and family. I love my husband, my baby girl, my son, my home, and most of all the Lord. This blog covers everything I'm interested in: My relationship with the Lord, travel, family, decorating, creativity, fine arts and culture, books, parenting my precious daughter, history, all things Disney, a love for the old-fashioned, interesting finds in the blog world, and more!
